Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 16, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing our scrap purchasing, dismantling, and collection services. By requesting a pickup, submitting details, or scheduling an evaluation, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Scope of Agreement & Service Offerings
These Terms of Service govern your relationship with Riyadh Scrap Pickup regarding our scrap purchasing, dismantling, rigging, and transport services. Our services are available to individual residents, commercial businesses, and industrial enterprises within the municipal boundaries of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. By requesting a valuation, scheduling a pickup, or engaging our crew, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.
2. Ownership Warranties & Anti-Theft Verification
To maintain the integrity of our recycling supply chain and comply with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the seller represents and warrants that they are the absolute legal owner of the scrap materials offered for sale, or possess explicit, written, and notarized authorization from the legal owner. Sellers must present a valid Saudi National ID or Iqama (Resident Identity card) for verification. Riyadh Scrap Pickup maintains a zero-tolerance policy for stolen metals. We reserve the absolute right to refuse service and report any suspicious materials or fraudulent ownership claims to the Riyadh Police and security authorities.
3. Weight, Evaluation & Pricing Integrity
All price estimates provided via phone, email, or WhatsApp are preliminary projections based on market rates and seller descriptions. The final purchase price is established only after our on-site team performs a physical inspection and weighs the metals using certified, calibrated digital scales. Prices are indexed against daily national and global scrap metal market rates. We guarantee transparent weight measurements. If a price agreement cannot be reached on-site, either party may cancel the transaction without liability before loading commences.
4. Site Access, Logistics & Safety Requirements
The seller must provide our transport vehicles and rigging personnel safe, unobstructed access to the premises where the scrap is stored. It is the seller's responsibility to obtain any necessary building permissions, landlord consents, or gated-community clearance prior to our arrival. Our team will perform loading and transport in a professional and safe manner, but the seller must ensure that the access pathway is clear of structural hazards and valuable personal property.
5. Utility Disconnections & Dismantling Liabilities
For safety reasons, prior to our crew commencing any dismantling work on scrap assets—including but not limited to split air conditioners, central HVAC units, industrial machinery, backup generators, and electrical panels—the seller MUST ensure that all associated utilities (electricity, water, gas, refrigerant lines) are fully disconnected and capped by certified technicians. Riyadh Scrap Pickup is not liable for structural damage, electrical short circuits, water leaks, gas leaks, or environmental hazards arising from the seller's failure to verify utility disconnection.
6. Payment Structure and Financial Settlements
Financial settlements are conducted immediately upon completion of loading and weight verification at the site. For residential accounts, payments are typically completed in cash on the spot, subject to statutory cash transaction limits under Saudi anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. For commercial and industrial accounts, payment is settled via bank transfer to a verified corporate bank account, or as agreed in writing. If applicable under ZATCA regulations, tax-registered commercial sellers must provide a compliant VAT invoice.
7. Environmental Safety and Waste Management Compliance
Riyadh Scrap Pickup is dedicated to environmental sustainability. All scrap metals and electronic waste are processed and recycled in compliance with the rules of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA) and local Riyadh waste management directives. We do not purchase or transport hazardous chemicals, toxic waste, or pressurized cylinders unless certified empty and safe. We recover and dispose of air conditioning refrigerants safely to prevent atmospheric damage.
8. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability
The seller agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Riyadh Scrap Pickup, its directors, officers, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) breach of ownership warranties, (b) pre-existing structural or environmental contamination at the pickup site, or (c) failure to disconnect utility lines. Our maximum aggregate liability for any operational claim during services shall not exceed the net scrap purchase value of the transaction.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service, and all transactions arising from them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms, including their validity or termination, that cannot be resolved amicably, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
